Chris Boonzaier
This death card arrived yesterday, the man was killed in September 1916 in the Chapitre Wald at Verdun. Killed by serious wounds in a Bombardement and buried alive. The watch I found in the Chpitrewald sector earlier this year, it had been churned up by a Forestery machine.... Stopped at 08:15.... Of course, its not his.... but they just seem to fit together....
Spasm
Chris what a great thing to find. Obviously never to be wound or cleaned in any way. And for some reason they do seem to go together.
TacHel
Woa... As eerie as it gets... Awesome mind you, but eerie nonetheless... That watch makes that small piece of paper come alive.
Chris Boonzaier
You cannot believe how astonished I was... just walking along a rut in the forest and seeing a white disk peeking out at me! It is from a swiss maker who moved to Germany quite some time befor ethe war..and the stamps on this one is what he used in germany

Chris Boonzaier
Hi, It was unfortunately an area that many, many people moved through, no way to tell. I guess there was a 50/50 chance that he would have his name engraved... bummer he did not....
