marrauder
Hello, What do you think about this Godet 12 mm miniature of silver wound badge? Looks lovely, but is this real combo of ribbons, or just fantasy? The ribbons were identified by seller as ek2, zähringer löwen, bavarian sanitätskreuz, hungarian commemorative medal and hessian kriegs ehrenzeichen. In the case of the last ribbon I am not very sure he is right. Thanks in advance

saschaw
I'd rather read the 3rd ribbon as a Bulgarian bravery award (no chance to tell which) and the last as an Ottoman war medal, so called Galipoli star. Probably not enough to identify the wearer, I guess. But it does look real to me. Nice one!

joe campbell
very nice piece, and one of the reasons i have such an affection for imperial era - lots of beautiful non-regulation items. these were simply and beautifully made and accessible to many veterans at probably not a huge cost. joe
