Deruelle Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Hi Stephan, To be honest with you, I'm jealous. You have got a vey impressive album. congrats. in several photos you said that Lt Thieme-Harmann, the real name is Leutnant Erich Thieme-Gamann from IR 102. He received both iron crosses and knight cross 2nd class with X of Albert Order. Thanks for sharing those photos with us. Christophe Edited April 28, 2012 by Deruelle
Söderbaum Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Very interesting photos indeed..! I especially liked these with aviation connection, like nr 41. I have problem reading the name of the pilot. Could it be Vfw Mohrenschultz or similar..? I do think that the observer is Lt Binkau. I do not have his first name but he was living in Leipzig after the War, so maybe he have a Saxon connection.. Gunnar
Deruelle Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I have found only one Binkau in PB 12. Lt Hans BINKAU, he received the SA3bX on22 December 1916. Christophe
Deruelle Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Recently I have bought this photo of an officer of the PB 12. Unfortunaly there is no name. Christophe

christoph.maho Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Hi! I am a Mahrenholtz and probably could figure out who pilot Mahrenholtz was. Do you have any more details? In particular, I would like to see the photo showing the persons, i.e. Leutnant Binkau and Mahrenholtz. Cheers Christoph Mahrenholtz christoph.maho at gmail dot com
