Very intersting medal...

Couldn`t find anything on this one, exept that this medal was intended for Palace guards (my guess this info originates from reverse inscription - unfortunately I don`t have photo of the reverse).

Anyway - another "unofficial" Manchu medal

Thank you both--saw one of these in a Tokyo collection about 10-12 years ago without ribbon. Owner described it as a palace security guard award, whether for being a member of the guard or for superior service unknown.
