Graduated Odessa Military Flying School in 1938. Since august 1942 he fought with 8th Guard Fighters Group (since February 8, 1943 with 42nd Guard Fighters Group). Made 219 sorties. Took part in 64 air fight. Was wounded twice and contused. 20 personal kills + 3 in the group.
