Does anyone have any info about members of JagdGeschwader 1 ?

I bought a Photo of an WW II Lw Hauptmann August Wieshofer that the seller claimed was a

member of JG 1 in WW1 ?

Ahhhhhh, no. He was an Austrian... and no flying badge. Not commissioned by the 1917 K.u.k. Heer Liste.

I thought he should have a flying badge , and not anyone close to be named Wieshofer in JG 1

He must have been some sort of staff Off during WW II , I suppose .

Not commissioned by the 1917 K.u.k. Heer Liste

Indeed he was not. That is because he was k.k. Landwehr officer. He was commissioned into k.k. Schützenregiment Nr. 24 on 1 August 1916 (4177). He is not shown with any decorations in the 1918 Ranglisten der K.K. Landwehr. He apparently was a Luftwaffe transport officer with the rank of Hauptmann d.R. z.V in WW2.
