Claudio
Dear forumites, I was checking some of my old auction catalogues, when I bought my first medal bars... I still remember the medal bars that I missed because I didn't have enough money or I was "too conservative" to bid higher (prices in Deutsche Mark), like no. 1375... These are sweet memories... ;-) ciao, Claudio Edited July 26, 2012 by Claudio
Paul C
Now I see how groups were broken up. If you look at the first page you will see that item 1375 and 1376 are a matching medal bar and ribbon bar.
Claudio
Hi Paul, I noticed that, too. Check also the items numbers 1949 & 1950. The ribbon bar was sold at that auction and the medal bar remained unsold and was offered in at least 3 or 4 later auctions. ciao, Claudio
Claudius
Has any of these bars surfaced since 1987? Have the winning bidders had them in Riker mounts -for the last 25 years! Great bars. Thank you for posting these pages.
Claudio
Nos 1359 and 1364 are in my and my brother's collection... 1359 has been positively identified after more than 20 years, see here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/46676-meet-majorgeneral-der-polizei-hans-daeuwel/ Edited July 26, 2012 by Claudio
