Medal bars from old HH catalogue (1987)

Dear forumites,

I was checking some of my old auction catalogues, when I bought my first medal bars... I still remember the medal bars that I missed because I didn't have enough money or I was "too conservative" to bid higher (prices in Deutsche Mark), like no. 1375...

These are sweet memories... ;-)

Now I see how groups were broken up. If you look at the first page you will see that item 1375 and 1376 are a matching medal bar and ribbon bar.

Hi Paul,

I noticed that, too. Check also the items numbers 1949 & 1950. The ribbon bar was sold at that auction and the medal bar remained unsold and was offered in at least 3 or 4 later auctions.
