Hello gentlemen!

Last week I bought this nice badge.

I´m not sure, if it´s an original one. To me it looks good, but I´ve read that 99% of those badges are copies.

What do you say?

Looks crisp and the forming is good. I would say nothing wrong with it - however, one caveat - I am not comparing it

with a known genuine one. See if you can find one on the Internet. Mervyn

It looks nice and crisp, so if its a copy its a good copy. However, Mervyn is right: good copies need to be side by side with a known original and, often, physically in the same place, as 'feel' - which is really just your mind picking up clues at the subconcious level, I believe - is important too. Sorry not to be more helpful! :(

The above badge with a slider is correct for an OR cap badge. I believe the top badge posted is an officer collar badge.

Hello gentlemen!

Thank you for yor opinins. I´m not sure, if my one is an collar badge, because of its size. It´s 5cm. I´drather be saying, it´s another manufacturer.

Some units used full sized badges as collar badges, that being said, mine has a slider reverse as well.

I was once told if it was possible to easily bend the badge then it's more than likely a fake. Your one does looks good.
