paul wood Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Dude with the hat First row 1 Empire of Brazil Order of the Rose, can't even see a third row apart from a whacking great star Paul
Paul R Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Cool image. Is it an original painting or a print?
kapten_windu Posted August 18, 2012 Author Posted August 18, 2012 Hi Paul Wood, please check the thread Surakarta ODM, row 1 no 1 is clearly the order of loyalty.. Paul R, this is an original painting of my lecture's grandparents, maybe painted in late 30's or early 40's before the Japan arrive.. :)
paul wood Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Windu, All I can say is that the Order of Loyalty was closely copied from the Brazilian Order of the Rose. Paul
kapten_windu Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 Paul wood, no, it's different.. please see these: Surakarta Order of Loyalty (3rd class) Order of the Rose:
kapten_windu Posted August 25, 2012 Author Posted August 25, 2012 and no 11. most likely Royal Order of Cambodia than The Red Eagle
