    Thanks for the info!! Every one that I've seen seems to be of some age, so I assume they were no longer awarded after a period of time (end of WWII?). Do we know if that is the case? Also, can you tell me what the reverse says? Finally, you know what the next two questions are going to be... :lol:

    Left part of the badge

    優等章 - badge of exellence

    Right part of the badge

    小銃射撃 - small gun shooting

    Same inscription on the box for this badge ;)

    Were these worn on the uniforms as the other proficiency badges? I haven't seen any photos with them being worn...

    Since this is navy badge - it should be worn under right pocket (or simply lower right part of uniform).

    But you are right about photos - no evidence in sight ;)

    I suspect that this badge was cancelled somewhere around 20s ...
