Here a very sad one Medical Detatchment 262nd IR 66th Div

Lost 24 DEC 1944 when U486 sunk SS leopoldville as she was bring over Replacements for the battle of the bulge

Very sad. That ship's sinking (in harbor?) decimated a brigade as I recall.
