    Greetings JBLFloyd,

it's from Greek Royal Navy, and to be precise a medal of the "Athletic Association of the Royal Navy".

Most of such medals are minted during 1935, so I suppose this one is from the same period.

As Emanuel says, this medal belongs to the Hellenic Royal Navy Athletic Association-it was awarded for sea games. It is not an official award or a medal that would be worn on the uniform. A rather common medal, without interest. Good though for anyone who collects athletic medals connected to military or naval games.

I did not know that such items were made. Was Greece the only country that made such medals for military exercises?
