Ralph A Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) Are the scalloped mini's as rare? Or are all the mini's scalloped? (PS I acquired the bar w/mini and the one above at different times) Edited January 27, 2013 by Ralph A
Jim R Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The first is a EKII Juncker first model spange, second is a Boerger first model mini. Both are uncommon. Jim
Chris Boonzaier Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 That ribbon system with press studs is really the business! Best Chris
alan_g Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Hi Ralph, There is no 1935 Honour Cross on the ribbon bar, I suspect that it is a modern put together. But made with original parts. Also the precedence of the Flower awards is incorrect, which is a further indication of what i've stated.
Chris Boonzaier Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 DUH! Alan, good point, I dont know how I missed that!
Ralph A Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Good eye. I had forgotten about that. I better tag it. It's one of several "Frankenstein's monster" bars in my "Fiction" collection made from original parts, along with a (supposedly) fake Afrika Korp cufftitle DN sold me (and refunded the money on), a "suspect" Krim Shield and an SS camo helmet cover made after the war from period cloth. Oh, and a "Luftwaffe" helmet with a national emblem stuck on it after the war. I just can't bring myself to take the bar apart.
