Chris Boonzaier Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Does anyone have one of these? Does not seem to be a way to put a pull through cloth in it.... or are they just to bang out stuck cartridges?
Hoss Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 Hi Chris I think your right for jammed cases the ring stop on the shaft is important to stop from going to far and breaking the rifle ejection pawl, whats the length to the stop? Eric
Chris Boonzaier Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Hi, the pictured one is not mine. I have a similar one from a barn in the Argonne, it is 105cm from tip to the ring... so about 41 inches... that would reach from the front of the barrel, to the back of the MG, and still have 4-5cm to spare...

Chris You mentioned mg correct through the grip plate peep hole I showed the pics to mg chums at a gig slightly puzzled should be longer with a flat blade tip and slot. Two things maybe the end was broken or may be just a push through. If you have one and want to sell who you going to call?......not ghostbusters... me.
MG1918 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I am also looking for this type of cleaning rod. I think this example is broken as all that I have seen have as stated a slot for the flanalette. Mark
