Marching songs in the foreign legion are really part of the tradition.... often accompanied by cursing and punishment... only once in 5 years was I part of a company that once sang a song so perfectly that you could feel the guys thinking " me... this is perfect"... and folks all over the parade ground turned to watch us march by... Some of the Legion songs on youtube have been done by a choir and are nowhere near as "good" as when sung by a compagnie... Here is one of my all time favourites.... not only a legion song...
