Hello, buckles are not me speciality or my collecting field but i got this one as part of a grouping and would like some opinions on it

I'm sorry - but this is a fantasy buckle. It was not a buckle that was created andor used during the TR period.

What did the RLB use?

There were three different types of Reichluftschutzbund buckles....This is the 1933 pattern:

Here is the second pattern.....

This is the last pattern that was produced. Of all three buckles, this one is the hardest to find. It is quite scarce.

Hi Rob. Thank you very much for posting these buckles. It is interesting how the later version is of better quality and detail than the earlier two. I am also surprised to see that they are still using aluminum for buckles. I thought that this stopped by then.
