    Greetings all.

I have just purchased an outstanding Serbian medal bar - please see the pictures below.

I know the first three at left as the Order of the White Eagle, Order of St Sava, and the British Military Cross.

It is the others I do not know. Any help you can give me to identify the rest would be greatly appreciated (I assume they are all Serbian).

    Thank you. Linas

I am sure we have seen this group before.

    Thanks Paul.

I'm curious - where do you think you saw it before? After I pay the seller, am I going to get screwed and not receive it?

Let me know. It is a lot of money.

    Thanks. Linas

It was posted 5 November 2012 in CMIC topic Serbia Kingdom medal Bar on Ebay (sorry no good at doing links). Not the first piece mentioned but a topic that evolved through postings. It is very nice and looks 100% kosher

At least I know that senile decay has not attacked my memory.

    Greetings Linas,

A beautiful medal bar, our friend Emanuel posted pictures of it here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/56056-serbia-kingdom-medal-bar-on-ebay/?p=517454

It can also be seen here among some pretty rare items (Posts #11, 13 and 14) http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/32324-serbia-rare-medal-for-bravery/

The bar was also on ebay for a long time...

Paul already identified all of the decorations correctly. I beleive that both, the White Eagle and St. Sava, were made by Huguenin.

    Kind regards,

    Radmilo

    Hello Radmilo,

The 'how' is how did Emanuel come up with the photos? Did he own the piece before? Or WHO owned the piece before?

    I am just curious.

    Thanks. Linas

I really can't tell, I believe that he did, but he would be the right person to ask. Sometimes these medal bars change a lot of owners in a short period of time, I've seen that couple of times.

    Regards,

    Radmilo
