Chris Boonzaier Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Top left is the old one... left side apparently new ones?
TacHel Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 It says top right is the old one from the 70s & 80s...
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 Sorry, typo my part... top right we wore in the 90s as well as 70s and 80s... left side must all be new... ugly things....
IrishGunner Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Looks like some kind of Boy Scout merit badge. Seems appropriate.
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 They are a terrible design. The old one top right is based on a WW1 badge, the new ones on the marksmans/small arms badges (which are fugly)... The thing in the middle is supposed to be a base plate. It is being sold all over as a legion badge, but is not.
Paul R Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 What are the different colors representing? Different levels of ranking? Are they for the beret or collar?
Chris Boonzaier Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Hi, the different colors are for instructiors, crew chief etc. they are a qualification chest badge like a shooting badge.
