This came by with the Traveling Museum waaaaay back in 2010 and I thought it had been posted whilst I was offline, but apparently... not.

Forgot to mention--- this sure is one immaculate Godet Spange, eh? DESPITE that firm's retail cachet, note that the gilding is gone (evaporated) off his RAO2E's oakleaves. The chain must date very late in the war or just after--and would only have been worn a few times before his death.
