I have not seen Italian reenactor groups before. Where was this event?

This was an air show in Willoughby, Ohio. It is labeled as an air show, but there is much more. This is the website for the air show http://www.usam.us/

There are kids rides, re-enactors, rides on a B-17 and B-25 bomber, antique car show, its a really nice set-up.
