muckaroon1960
Just acquired this medal for my USA collection and its a beauty! Antarctica Service Medal on a 12mm crimp with the makers mark "E H SIMON". I am assuming E H Simon is the same manufacturer as Simco, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong? Can this medal be dated owing to the impression of E H Simon?

army historian
Nice medal - I think you are correct about the Maker.
Paul R
Nice one! I have not seen a modern US medal marked in this manner.
muckaroon1960
I have found some information on the web that suggests this could date from the 1960's? I know the medal was established July 1960 and I have seen boxed ones marked the same dated 1964.
