    Thanks Nick, nice to see Garter attachments that are obviously genuine. The late Ernst Blass created dozens of such insignia

    I have to comment the display of Alexander I's awards. The museum people has turned the sword of the "knight of the grand cross 1st class" up side down.

    Seriously though, I have somewhere black-and-white photo of the very same combistar that we observe on Dawe portrait.
