Flammenwerfer Grenadier - Yes, Grenadier not Pionier

Has anyone ever heard of a Garde-Grenadier (not a Pionier) trained by the 2.Garde-Pionier-Ersatz-Btl. as a Flammenwerfer and then after a successful one-month flamethrower course being send to a machine gun section?

I think David Gregors has something similar, infantryman trained as FW, then to an Infantry Division. if i remember correcly it was something to do with large defensive flame throwers... will see if i can dig up the details...
