alan_g Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Would like to share this 8 place ribbon bar with a nice array of "regular" awards, followed on by some interesting foreign awards. A Bavarian junior officer or NCO during WWI. Added "padding" to his rack with the addition of commemorative medals for WWI Hungary and Bulgaria. The piece is dated to around 1939 with the KVK X being present in 2nd place. The foreign awards are the Japanese order of the Sacred Treasure and possibly the Swedish Vasa Order. I think the owner of this bar could have been a foreign diplomat possibly.
922F Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Green ribbon may signify Italian Maurice & Lazarus, commander grade [gilt crown device on ribbon]. Sacred Treasure fairly rare on such bars. It looks well assembled--have you UV lighted it?
alan_g Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Hi, It is ok under UV light. It does not glow. It could be the Italian Order too, you are quite right, as they both use the same ribbon Best Regards Alan
03fahnen Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 The penultimate ribbon (7) could be a Spanish decoration: Knight's Cross of the Order of Isabel la Católica 1
