Glenn J
Chris, Thats a typo on the Bundesarchiv site; that is Oberst Wilhelm Heye! Regards Glenn
Chris Boonzaier
Ahh... ok... thats why Google gave no nothing :-) I found this Officer of the Army and Assigned with the Chief of the General Stff of the Field Army - Chief of the Operations-Department (21 Sep 1918-17 Apr 1919) At the same time, Acting 1st General-Quartermaster (26 Oct 1918-01 Nov 1918) Does that mean Groener took over on the 1st of November... and I guess Heye may have jumped to being his chief of staff?
