dante Posted October 12, 2013 Share Posted October 12, 2013 Badly beat up but complete 1878 dated 5.Garde-Regiment zu Fuß tunic, this is my winter restoration project, I have managed to get some original cotton and will start on the large tear on the front......however I am not sure on the button holes, and replacing the cotton holding the button (effectively replacing all the old brown cotton) think it will look better with blue cotton but welcome your thoughts.PS the epaulettes have in my opinion been taken of and put back as they do not sit correctly.....
