Chris Boonzaier Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Somehow does not look thaaaaaaat old?
dante Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 No the original made on Elbe for the 100 days (1815) and is in the museum, the frame and screws at the back are late Victorian but given that veterans would have been around at the time maybe for a reunion?
peter monahan Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I'd be leery of it - maybe a 100 year old commemorative or maybe the product of a workshop in the mysterious east - Russia or Hungary - and done up last week with some old screws added for artistic verisimilitude. Sadly that sort of thing is becoming very common.
Chris Liontas Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Even for this time period? I understand the monetary value of these items is high, but is there a huge demand for them?
