Leclerc Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Dear fellow collectors, May I ask you what do you think about these crosses? There are two 3rd class crosses (s/n 38214 and 61229) and an exile type example without s/n. Personally, I think that (at least) the exile type is a fake. Thank you very much.
Leclerc Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Thank you very much, dear Igor, for your valuable answer. May I ask you what do you think about this medal for bravery?
Leclerc Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Great, thank you very much for your fast answer.
Leclerc Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Thank you very much for your valuable help, Igor. Here would be an other one, allegedly awarded to a French soldier during WWI. May I ask you what you think about it?
Igor Ostapenko Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 http://www.ebay.com/itm/291080181618 168 € :)
JapanX Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 No wonder! 15 different bidders liked this lot ... Enthusiasts
Leclerc Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Thank you very much for your answers. 168 € indeed, and I bet it will be sold for well over 200 €...
saschaw Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 This one is also a fake, insn't it? I'd say that's even the same type than the third cross from your first posting in very this thread. These "exile" type crosses are especially flodding ebay. Here and here are more examples...
