It seems a tad too new for me, but then again I'm not the authority on Medal Bars :D but anyway just thought of throwing it out there.

Its in pretty amazing condition if its reallllllly old :D

Well, it's not the condition of medals in the bar (they all came from 30s) that I am worried about

I mean the connecting things that connect the medals to make it a bar, its pretty new :D

The medals themselves look old :D

Its just odd how they are attached to me at least :S

    The hangar?

Well, it was made in aluminum/aluminum alloy ;)

    Is it the combination?

    It is the combination ;)

To be more precise the combination of 4th class orders with medals from early 30s +

Could you be a little more specific?

    No problem!

What we have here is "4th class rising sun + 4th class sacred treasure"

So we are talking about colonel (theoretical max)/ lieutenant colonel/ major (theoretical min)

This is why I think such bar (authentical one ;)) should have (at the very least!) Showa enthronement medal + (very possible) 14-20/14-15 + WWI medal + (possible) Taisho enthronement medal.

    Ah I see.

Looking at the Manchukuo pictures thread I have to agree with you absolutely. (Manchukuo helps the dating to 30-eraly 40s). Everyone with a 4th or even 5th class has at least the Showa enthronement.
