Marcin L Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Hi Andreas, here is short history of the battle: http://www.pomost.net.pl/festung_posen_1945_krotka_historia_bitwy.html It is in Polish but you can easily use Google Translator, it should be sufficient. As to the Stossreserve - it seems that it was some kind of Panzer unit (according to the history above). But I can't help you more. Regards, Marcin

turtle Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) Thanks for showing the additional documents! Him being wounded 3 times during the few last months of the war is a good example for the intense and desperate fighting! Edited January 17, 2014 by turtle
dedehansen Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 @ turtle three times wounded in a short times maybe thats the reason why he could escape from posen and survived the war @ Marcin thanks for the links these were very helpfully Regards Andreas
