Getting malaria back then was like getting the flu and we all know what happened to so many returning vets in 1919. We had malaria pills we took everyday in Nam and another every Monday. Take anyone out of their environment and you'll see health problem and WWI brought so many off the farm for the first time and exposed them to all kinds of deceases.
