Jock Auld Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Guys, I like to pick up variants of these when I see them, this clearly for civilian use but looks to have a wartime 'prym' press stud, often civi stuff was bought and used by the individual servicemen. This is the first time I have seen this combination, quite clever! It could be pre or post war I suppose. Jock
Mervyn Mitton Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Jock - have you seen the examples on Edged Weapons ? Mervyn
Jock Auld Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Mervyn, No is that here somewhere or is that another forum?
Laurence Strong Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Here I was excpecting to see a can of meat.......Spork Mervyn, No is that here somewhere or is that another forum? It's here on the forum, kinda hidden inside "Military Hardware'....http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/forum/50-swords-edged-weapons/ Larry
peter monahan Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 It would have to be a tough squaddy or a very thin skinned foe to qualify a spork as a weapon, IMHO. Might as well gum him to death! M.O., WWI recruiting depot: "Your teeth are in a terrible state." Scottish recruit: "I thought we were gane tay shoot the Hun, nay bite them tae death!"
Jock Auld Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 I went through the headings and did not find any relating to sporks in there? Cheers jock
