joe campbell Posted March 2, 2006 Author Share Posted March 2, 2006 dan-thanks for your comments.on the wreath is EHREN KREUZ DER FELD ARTILLERIEand on the arms ( 9 and 3 ) PRO ET GLORIA PATRIA.i had the same question regarding the ribbon,but it does have a white thread border, not consistentwith the EK ribbon. the person selling it knew NOTHINGabout the group, so i had my mentor take a peak:his comment was that it was a fairly unusual veterans pieceand that the ribbon was consistent with a veterans group.the material of the third ribbon also has a texture that i'venot seen in '39 EK ribbons.wish you could see it in hand. it's a sweetie!hope this helps.joe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
