Chris Boonzaier Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Does anyone know if a Man named Voight of the 19th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment recieved a gold or silver bravery medal? Thanks+ Chris
Dave Danner Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 There was a David Vogt from b.RIR 19 who received the Golden Bravery Medal on 15.4.16. He was born on 30 August 1893 in Junkenhofen, Schrobenhausen, Obb., and was a butcher in Frankfurt am Main.
spolei Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Hello, in my documents, his birthday was in 1892, 30. August. He also awarded the EK 1, EK2 and the bavarian MVK 3. class with crown and swords. His last rank was Unteroffizier. Andreas
Dave Danner Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 The Stammrolle from the Rekrutendepot of 3.IR has 1892, but the Kriegsstammrollen and Renner for the 12.IR and RIR 19 all have 1893.
spolei Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Hello, in the book "Bayerns Goldenes Ehrenbuch", which shows the storys about all owners of the Militär-Max-Joseph-Orden, Militärsanitätsehrenzeichen and the Tapferkeitsmedaillie Gold / Silber, said his birthday was in 1892. For over three years I worked on a database about the owners of the bavarian bravery-medal. My references were this book, a brochure of the "Verein der Tapferkeitsmedaillienträger 1955" and the listings of the ancestry-database.
spolei Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Hello, here can you read all the pages of the "Bayerns Goldenes Ehrenbuch". http://wiki-commons.genealogy.net/w/index.php?title=Datei%3ABayerns_goldenes_Ehrenbuch_1914-1918.djvu&page=3 regards Andreas
