1/5 Chef d'Escadron Gaspard Gourgaud 1813

My latest bust. Gourgaud was the best known of Napoleon's Officiers d'Ordonnance, senior aides who were dressed in amazing costume ball uniforms of cornflower blue and red trimmed with tons of silver lace.

Thanks Peter - here is an update. Uniform is just undercoated. Face is acrylic and bicorne is oil.

Niiice, all that gold lace will be just yummy. I've always wanted to do a large scale just for the gold lace and the like as it is hard to replicate at my scale.
