Can someone please help me completing the awards lists for
    - KuK Generalmajor Richard Mayer (the 1913 Schematismus lists the following awards for him, but based on the loops on his tunic, he must have received at least one breaststar): EKOR3, MVK, Kriegsmedaille, Militärverdienstziechen für Offiziere 3. Klasse, bronzene Jubiläumserinnerungsmedaille für die bewaffnete Macht, Militär Jubileumskreuz);
    - General der Artillerie (post 1918 - Oberst in 1918) Ludwig Ritter von Eimannsberger (see enclosed pic, found on the internet - again, loops on his tunic indicate the award of at least one breaststar or an EK I)
    - Generalmajor Karl Heiler (20.1.1849 - 15.8.1926)
Many thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards,

    Sandro

Thanks a lot Ian, this is extremely helpful. I'm a bit miffed that I could not (even) find Eimannsberger in the 1918 Rangliste - any chance you could give me the page number, so I can see how I missed him?

    Best wishes,

    Hi Sandro,

The information relating to Oberstleutnant Ludwig Ritter von Eimannsberger can be found on page 92 (artilleriestab - Oberstleutnants und Majore), right hand column, 7th entry.

    Hi, all

Richard Mayer is in the rolls for the Schaumburg-Lippe Kreuz für Treue Dienste as "Feldmarschalleutnant eines österreichischen Korps".  The award date was 25.4.1916.  Does anyone know what his assignments were during the war? Or his birthdate, for that matter

Also awarded the SLK on the same day was Oberstleutnant Karl v. Olleschik, Edler v. Elbheim, listed als "Generalstabschef eines österreichischen Korps".  I would assume they were in the same corps, since they were the only Austrians decorated on this date.  Olleschik was born on 10.9.1873 in Brünn, by the way, but I am not sure when he died.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Dave,

    Mayer, Richard Feldmarschalleutnant.

    Nov 1912 - Dec 1914 Kmdt. 94 Infanteriebrigade

    Dec 1914 - Nov 1915 Kmdt 19 Infanteriedivision

Nothing after that, so perhaps he was awarded the Schaumberg-Lippe kreuz for the 19 Infanteriedivison command?

    DoB: 31 May 1860

    Regards,

    Ian
