MG1918
Those who know what they are doing - could you post some images of standard Imperial Army bayonets and correct frogs. I am looking to locate and buy one but so many patterns of leather frogs look the same? Thanks. Mark
Chip
Hi Mark, Could you be more specific? Which bayonet are you needing a frog for? Chip
MG1918
Although the bayonet purists would laugh at me - I am looking for 2 excellent examples of a standard issue bayonet, and frog that was used to a standard rifleman of 1916 and a machine gunner of the same period. Hopefully two differing variants. Does that help? Thanks Mark Edited February 15, 2015 by MG1918
Hoss
Mark You want a 84/98 frog its narrower than the 98/05. be careful you don't end up with a w2. Eric

Hoss
Here you go Chris a 98/05 example, sorry I dont have one personally to show but I've had them 1912-15 dated. the extra rivet normally shouldn't be there above the slot. Cheers
