Stuka f Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Not realy antique, or collectible, but it helps when collecting "the stuf"......I have got a bunch of magnifyers, but what I found this morning at the flee market, is quiet the best!Only need to find out how to get the images to my laptop, tablet or what ever other device......With a medal you get;
utopis Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Hm, that's quite interesting. So it has some connection ports, right? What about the image quality - how would you compare it to an upper-end-camera?
Stuka f Posted March 29, 2015 Author Posted March 29, 2015 Image quality is very good and quiet different from the pic, here!Just found out that masking the lights with a sort of towel paper gives a good result for the light reflexion matter. And the only connection port I manage to find is a ethernet / Lan port; not sure what I can do with it...I think I'll get more info at the local PC shop in the village.
leigh kitchen Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 (edited) These are sold via the RNIB tho' not just through them. for use by the visually impaired. My mother's planning on getting one. They cost a fair wack new, a lot of them as in over £1000.Is there a way of taking photos with them?The fanciest I've got with a magnifier is one of those little electronic ones you rig up to your computer and you can take moving or stills. They are good for small detail but not much else ( I suppose the clue's in the "microscope" bit of the name) . Edited April 19, 2015 by leigh kitchen
Stuka f Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 They are quiet expensive new! I would sujest you to keep a eye open on second hands, flee markets or car boot sales; that is how I got mine for 35 € !Like I said before; the only connection port I manage to find is a ethernet / Lan port, but I didn't continue my quest......still taking my pic's from the screen image.......|<ris
Claudius Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 This looks like just the ticket for increasing inelastic eye lens muscles.
