I am normally a bit weary of fakes, the ware is quite authentic as the engraving is almost worn away on the base, but I know that could have been done to deceive. Chris Boonzaier Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Hi, my feeling from the photos is a box that was made for XXX married to a badge that is either period, but from something else, or is a copy.So the box could have been used for something else for 30-40-50 years, and recently gotten itself "Badged"....
