Here another Württemberg Geb.Rgt.

I assume, it´s from the "regimental" era, because of the absence of the "S" at the collar". That only was worn in the early days, when it used to be a company or a bataillon.

Unfortunately I can´t see no cocades on the mountain-cap.

I wonder why sometimes they were worn at the front, sometimes at both sides

Very nice photos!!!! I´ve seen them before!

I see the cocades at the caps side. Probably Württemberg had them aside, because the space between the two front-buttons was too tight

Is it me but does the cap on the right have a cloth peak?

Yes, dante, but that´s right. Württemberg had cloth peaks. Bavaria the other ones (some kind of plastic)
