Carol I Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 The War Museum of Thessaloniki should be a must for collectors of Greek decorations as it has a very large display of Greek orders and medals organised as a reference catalogue. The Order of the Redeemer The Order of George I The Order of George I with swords The Order of Welfare The Order of the Phoenix (with and without swords) The Royal House Order of Saints George and Constantine The Royal House Order of Saints Olga and Sophia The Order of Honour

paja Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Amazing, thanks for photos! It's been over 10 years since my last visit to Thessaloniki, next time I go there I'll definitely visit the War Museum. The only thing I dislike are the pins put through the ribbons, there are better ways of displaying decorations. Do they have some foreign decorations on display as well?

Yes, they have some in the period displays, but not to the same extent as the Greek collection (generally smaller classes).
