The Prussian
Hello! Today I´d like to show some photos of the so-called "Strich-Division" (208.Inf.Div.) The units of that divisions wore different symbols upon the forearm BUT! No-one wrote, that the drivers (Kraftfahr-Kolonne) could have an own symbol. A wheel would make sense. Or what else should this be???
HeikoGrusdat
Great pics Andy !!!! yes....maybe a wheel May I ask where this is from? what book or source? and are there similiar sources for other units wearing symbols or other units in the same source? I sometimes find photos with symbols like that and (of course) I have noooooooooooo clue what they are meaning

Farkas
Hi Andy, i read this post earlier this evening. Then just now I was sorting some cards away and spot this... If I’m not mistaken, he has the ‘square over line’ marking? Tunic seems to match too. I would never have noticed it another time. tony
The Prussian
Hi Tony! Yes it is! Here we see Fußartillerie-Bataillon 157 (Heavy Artillery)! We also see the yellow shoulder straps for heavy artillery (M15). They appear black, that´s normally
