Anthony03
Greetings all- I bought a large amount of militaria a while ago and this was in the box. The leather is extremely brittle and the only marking is a XXX on the buckle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Alf Boyley

peter monahan
I agree: Great War German. For me, the strap with the clip is the diagnostic mark.

Chris Boonzaier
Hi, Its interesting to see the Schutztrupp Bandollier fully addapted for the SA forces or SAP post WW1. The little Buckle where the Bayonet Frog has been adapted for the Lee Enfield Bayonet for instance. Best Chris
Anthony03
Hi Chris - Yes, I was very lucky to find that rig. A very rare item in that condition. It has the Schutztruppe stamp on the inside. Cheers-Alf
