paja
I checked the statutes from 1957, 1973 and 1986 and all of them say the same thing, central part should be surrounded with 38 rubies yet almost all of the orders I saw so far have 30 or 31 rubies! Apart from that they weren't paying attention to placement of the golden part with women in folk costumes. Edited August 15, 2017 by paja
paja
This one belonged to Dragoslav Marković, awarded in 1980, 31 rubies! Historical Archives of Belgrade Edited August 15, 2017 by paja
paja
Possible recipients: Koča Popović, Dragoslav Marković, Vicko Krstulović and Vlajko Begović. Considering that it has 30 rubies we can cross Dragoslav Marković off the list. Also women in folk costumes are placed differently. BalkanCollector
Great photos Paja! I've seen some sources that claim different years for the awards so I took these years from one source that seemed the most complete.
paja
I know, it was not my intention to criticize you in any way When it comes to Moša Pijade perhaps he was formally awarded in 1949 but actually received the order in 1951. According to Rudež the final solution for the order was adopted in December 1950 so no one could really receive the order except on paper. Ivan Ribar on the other hand is a puzzle, when you look at the photo it really looks like he received the order from Tito on the same occasion in 1951. Looks like we'll have to check the Official Gazette... Edited August 30, 2017 by paja

BalkanCollector
I know it was not a critique but just a remark. Thanks for finding the year of the award for Ali Šukrija. Unfortunately, somehow I'm not able to edit my first post, so I can't add Ali Šukrija to 1985 list or recipients.
