Alex K Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Hi all, a bit of help if possible, I came across this image of Alexei Evert in all his splendour, unfortunately I cant identify one breast star, I don't think it's imperial Russian, any ideas, all help appreciated regards Alex K
922F Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 (edited) Looks like an Order of the Crown of the Emirate of Bukhara [Nishoni Todzhi Bukhoroi Dor Us Saltanat] Grand Cross star -- see Werlich's Russian Order book or Megan's website. Here's an image displaying a different but similar photo. Edited February 5, 2018 by 922F add image

Carol I Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Same decoration worn by the Emir of Bukhara as photographed by Prokudin-Gorsky in 1911 ... ... and in the Museum of the Legion of Honour.
Alex K Posted February 5, 2018 Author Posted February 5, 2018 Hi yes I've seen that image before but never spotted the star on his right breast, nice decoration though, I believe that it had a red sash and possibly a sash badge
