According to the Gothaisches genealogisches Taschenbuch der briefadeligen Häuser, his name was Hans Albert Hermann Gotthilf von Viebahn. His older brother was General der Infanterie Max Rudolf Fritz Gustav von Viebahn, their father was Generalleutnant Hermann Conrad Clemens Ferdinand von Viebahn.

The Schreiben below. He may have gone by "Hans Albert" for a while, but reverted to his official birth name. His birth certificate has "Johann Albert Hermann Gotthilf".
