Bayern Posted January 2, 2019 Share Posted January 2, 2019 Chris , Yes, the swallow nests were for all musicians the sme pattern . with independence of the instrument they played ,the musicians were called Hoboist ,Infantry and Navy, Trompeter in Cavalry and Artilley ; Waldhornist in Jaegers and Hornist into pioneers. the Stabs musicians ranking as Feldwebels carried Swallow nests with a 5 cm long gold or silver fringe below.
