Deutscher Schützenbund - Badges

Hello all, 

I have this eagle since long time. Does anybody know if those insignia were produced before 1938 or after 1951? 

It's the large badge not the small collar type.

Good day,

A very good question.  The pin looks to be from the pre war era.  But there are so many of these badges it can not remember when it would have been used from memory.  I'll have to look through my files and see what I can find.
