Antonio Prieto Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 EVERT GUSTAV WALDEMAR BECKER (Helsinki, 1840-Rome, 1907) His military career took him to many different destinations. He served in Poland as a sub-lieutenant of the Finnish Guard and goes to Spain to fight in the war of Morocco, where he participates in the clashes of Spanish troops against the Moroccan rebels in 1859-1860. For his bravery on the battlefield Becker gets the Cross of San Fernando He collaborates in Mexico's civil war. In Greece's campaign against the Turks. In Egypt in favor of Ismael Pacha, who names Bey and in Serbia reaches the rank of Major Staff Colonel There are pictures of him in the Serbian uniform, where he can see, among other decorations, the Cross of San Fernando and the Medal of Africa of 1860 Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain more information in Finnish or Serbian (or others) files about this person?
